Technical Audit

Something does not work, or someone left it half done?

I look for the cause and give you a fixed price for the repair before I change anything.

Price
from €450 for a website or shop. Audits of apps and back-office systems start higher.
Planned time
2–5 days.
Then
a repair at a fixed price, from €1,800.

Who it is for

For companies with a live shop, site, app or back-office system where something has stopped working. Also for companies whose project stopped halfway because the developer stopped replying.

Your system works and you want to extend or rebuild it? Start at “We need a new system”.

I do not take on stand-alone email or hosting migrations.

Does this sound familiar?

  • Your shop or site is slow, shows errors, or sometimes does not load.
  • Orders, payments or forms get through one day and not the next.
  • Something broke after an update and nobody knows what.
  • Your developer stopped replying and the project is half done.
  • Nobody in the company knows where the passwords, backups and code are.
  • An app built with an AI app builder worked in the demo and breaks with real customers.
  • Every fix breaks something else, so nobody wants to touch it.

First step: Technical Audit, a check of what does not work and why

Price: from €450 for a website or shop. Audits of apps and back-office systems start higher. I give you the exact price for your case before I start.

All prices on this page exclude VAT.

Planned time: 2–5 days.

What you get in writing:

  • the problem
  • the cause
  • the recommended fix
  • the scope of work
  • the risks
  • a fixed price for the repair
  • a rollout plan

How it works:

  1. You describe the case in a short form (the brief). It takes about 3 minutes.

  2. I reply within 1 working day. Before I start, I give you the price of the audit for your case. That price does not change. I start only after you accept it.

  3. I tell you exactly what I need in order to check. During the audit I change nothing.

  4. I do the audit myself. Automated tools only collect information; the conclusions and the repair price are mine.

  5. You get the document and decide what happens next.

What happens next

  • Repair at a fixed price: from €1,800. The audit gives the exact figure. This includes finishing an abandoned project.
  • Before the repair I make a backup and a separate working copy, and I repair on that copy. I also have a plan to roll back to the previous version. Only what you approve reaches the live version.
  • If the system holds personal data, we sign a data processing agreement before the repair.
  • Payment for the repair: 50% up front, 50% after you approve the result on the copy.
  • The full audit fee is credited towards a repair ordered within 30 days of receiving the document.
  • After the repair you can order a care plan for the repaired system: from €150 a month. It covers updates on a copy, monitoring, a backup test and a set number of hours each month. I only look after systems I built or repaired myself.

Questions and answers

Who invoices me, and when do I pay?

The contract and the VAT invoice come from EVEL sp. z o.o. (VAT ID PL5252869036). You pay for the audit up front, once the scope is agreed.

Why is the audit paid?

Because it is work, not a sales quote. I check the system myself and write down the cause, the scope, the risks and a fixed price for the repair. You receive the document whether or not you order the repair.

Can you quote the repair without an audit?

I give a fixed repair price after the audit. Without checking the cause, that price would be a guess. My reply to your brief costs nothing: it tells you whether I can help and where to start.

Does the audit fee reduce the repair price?

Yes. The full audit fee is credited towards a repair ordered within 30 days of receiving the document.

Will you change anything on the live site during the audit?

No. During the audit I change nothing. Changes start with the repair, and on a copy first.

How do I know what the repair will cost?

The audit gives a fixed price and a scope. You decide after reading it. I start nothing without your go-ahead.

Our shop is down right now. How long will it take?

I reply within 1 working day. The audit takes 2–5 days. The repair starts after your decision.

What if the repair does not work?

I repair on a copy, after making a backup and a rollback plan. You pay the second 50% only after you approve the result on the copy. What you do not approve never reaches the live version.

Can you finish a project another developer left?

Yes, if the audit shows it is worth finishing. I check what is there, what works and what is left. Then I give a fixed price to finish it, or tell you it is better to start again.

What if you become unavailable?

The documents from each step are in your hands.
